How do I reorder my templates?

You can reorder your templates so they appear in your preferred order when selecting a template at the start of a sessio

Step 1: Open Templates

  1. Go to Templates:
    ​https://www.patientnotes.app/dashboard/templates

  2. Click Configure the order of your templates.

Step 2: Drag and drop to reorder

  1. You’ll be taken to the prompt order page:
    ​https://www.patientnotes.app/dashboard/prompts/configure-order

  2. Find the template you want to move.

  3. Click and hold the 9-dot drag handle (the grip icon) on the left of the template.

  4. Drag the template up or down to your preferred position, then release to drop it in place.

Step 3: Confirm it saved

After you reorder, wait for the confirmation message:
​“Prompt order updated successfully.”
​

What changes after reordering?

Once saved, the new order will be reflected in the template dropdown when you start a session, making it faster to select the template you use most.
