How do I change my email address?
You can update your email in Settings → Profile → Email address. Enter your new email and save. You'll receive a confirmation to your new address.
If you no longer have access to your old email or the change isn't working, contact us via the chat widget with your clinic name and the new email address you'd like to use.
How do I add a team member to my account?
Go to Settings → Team → Invite member and enter their email address. They'll receive an invitation to create their own login under your clinic account.
Make sure you're on a Team or Clinic plan — the Individual plan supports one user only.
How do I remove a team member?
Go to Settings → Team, find the team member you'd like to remove, and select Remove. Their login will be deactivated immediately. Their notes and sessions will remain in the account.
How do I set up clinic access for my team?
Once your team members have been invited and accepted, they'll appear in your Settings → Team dashboard. You can manage their permissions and template access from there.
How do I transfer account ownership?
There's no self-serve option to transfer account ownership — this isn't available in the PatientNotes UI and needs to be handled manually by our support team.
To request a transfer, contact us via the chat widget with:
The current owner's email address
The new owner's name and email address
Your clinic name
Our team will update the ownership on the backend and confirm once it's done.
How do I unsubscribe from PatientNotes emails?
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send. If you'd like to be removed entirely from our mailing list, contact us via the chat widget with your email address and we'll remove you promptly.
How do I delete my account?
If you'd like your account and data deleted, please contact us via the chat widget or email [email protected]. We'll process your request in line with our privacy policy.
