What it does
When you open a session in PatientNotes, you can now pull in the most recent appointment note from Cliniko for that patient. This gives you instant context — past findings, treatment applied, the plan you set — right inside your workspace before you start recording or writing.
How to use it
Open a new session in PatientNotes and select your patient.
Tap Load Previous Session to fetch the most recent Cliniko appointment note for that patient.
The note will appear as context in your session. You can reference it while recording, or use it to add relevant history directly into your current note.
Why it's useful
Quickly recall what you covered last time without switching tabs or opening Cliniko separately.
Helps you pick up exactly where you left off, especially useful for complex or long-term patients.
Adds continuity to your documentation — your current note can build on what was already recorded.
Important
⚠️ Only appointment notes marked as Final/Complete in Cliniko will be imported. Draft notes will not be pulled through.
This feature requires your Cliniko integration to be connected. Head to Settings → Integrations → Cliniko if you haven't linked your account yet.
